Hey I did a costume design for Cymbeline once. It was a class project and I did a classic version, an 80's Dallas/Dynasty version, and a futuristic version.
Universal names I call cats and dogs:
-Woochen Skwoochen (with lips stuck out in a lazily playful effeminate stalker voice)
-Snuggully snuggully (ditto, with an extra "old man" overtone)
-Aww, nice kiddy (for both dogs and cats, and never without the Aww)
